Kerry Fitzpatrick
Medical Exercise Specialist
Kerry is a graduate from Penn State University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. For the past 10 years, She has been a practicing Emergency Medical Provider and a Critical Care Flight Paramedic with the Pennsylvania National Guard.
Kerry enjoys applying her extensive anatomy and rehabilitation knowledge into fitness programs , which is why she became a certified Medical Exercise Specialist.
She believes in helping others reach their movement goals and loves the challenge of designing exercise programs specific to each individual. Her philosophy is fun, functional fitness and strength training through physical and mental toughness, dedication, and self-reflection.
Kyle Seymour
Medical Exercise Specialist
Kyle graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. Kyle has used his Athletic Training experience in multiple Physical Therapy Clinics in Maryland and DC. Kyle has also used his degree at the High School level, providing acute injury and emergency care, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries with an emphasis on return to sports.
Kyle is a certified Personal Trainer and Performance Enhancement Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Additionally, Kyle is certified as a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach.
Kyle prioritizes injury prevention in all of his fitness programs. He focuses his exercise program design to make sure it fits each clients lifestyle and can be sustained for the long term. Kyle will always seek to stay updated on the advanced knowledge of musculoskeletal injuries, anatomy, and rehabiltation protocols in order to help his clients reach their fitness goals.
Janaye Dzikewich
Owner & Director
Janaye attended the University of Louisville on an athletic scholarship where she captained her Division 1 Lacrosse team and earned a Master’s of Science in Exercise Physiology. Janaye moved to Washington DC in 2014 specifically to build her identity as a Medical Exercise Specialist.
Her focus on Post Rehab and Medical Exercise Training stems from her own experience with injury and rehabilitation. After 3 total knee reconstructions and a meniscus transplant - Janaye saw the crucial need for more sustainable exercise programming following medical care.
Janaye founded F.I.R.S.T Post Rehab in 2023 with the mission of integrating health and fitness specific to each individual. She believes in utilizing exercise as a tool to combat and prevent pain, disease and illness..
